Praxis donates $5,000 The Window to help strengthen local community care in Goshen

As a part of its annual #GetUgly4Good social media campaign, Praxis donated $5,000 to The Window, a Goshen-based nonprofit dedicated to helping community members who are working to get back on their feed.
For nearly 60 years, The Window has served the local community by meeting essential needs for older adults, individuals and families with low incomes. Through a wide range of programs, the organization offers dignity, nourishment and connection to neighbors facing hardship.
The Window’s services include:
- Food Pantry: Five weekly food pantry sessions where neighbors can choose the items that best meet their household needs.
- Katie’s Kitchen: A welcoming space that serves freshly prepared lunches each weekday, inviting everyone to gather around the table.
- Meals on Wheels: Daily delivery of nutritious meals to individuals who are unable to leave their homes or are in need.
- Clothing Closet: Neatly and thoughtfully organized clothing available for community members to browse and select what they need.
“During this holy season of giving, Praxis is pleased to be able to give back” said Mark Regier, VP of Stewardship Investing. “And it is especially fun for us to annually spread some Christmas cheer by encouraging folks to dust off their ugly Christmas sweaters and celebrate for a good cause.”
The Praxis #GetUgly4Good campaign invited advisor offices and supporters across the country to participate by engaging with campaign posts on LinkedIn. For every 100 likes on a #GetUgly4Good post, Praxis pledged to donate $1,000, up to a total of $5,000, to a selected charitable organization. Thanks to strong participation and engagement this year, Praxis was able to contribute the full $5,000 to support The Window and its vital work in the Goshen community.
Through initiatives like #GetUgly4Good, Praxis continues to live out its commitment to stewardship by putting faith into action and supporting organizations that make a tangible difference close to home.
